Built by Blake: The Blueprint
Where fashion, business, and impact intersect.
My journey's been a whirlwind. From running four diverse businesses across fashion to mobile tech, to studying Supply Chain Management at Howard University. I decided to go all in on entrepreneurship and gave birth to CISE as you see it today, a fashion house, right back in LA. I'm on a mission to not only cement CISE's name in the fashion world but to weave a fabric of impact that stretches far and wide.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, my design journey began back in 2010 when I first started producing and designing clothes. Fashion has always been my canvas for expression, though my entrepreneurial spirit led me through multiple ventures before I found my true calling.
2020 became my turning point. The world was changing, and so was I. Walking away from the security of corporate life, I took the leap and launched CISE as it stands today, a mission-driven fashion house based in Los Angeles.
Commitment to community isn't just talk. To date, CISE has donated $61,500 in products and $81,389 in monetary support to organizations supporting minority and disadvantaged groups. Our tagline captures everything we stand for: stronger threads, for a stronger community.
What To Expect:
The road ahead is clear but challenging. My goal remains steadfast: cementing CISE's place in the fashion landscape while creating impact that runs deep and lasts generations. Building a brand that stands its ground starts with knowing exactly what you stand for.
I write from the intersection of fashion entrepreneurship and social purpose, sharing both the highlights and the honest struggles. Expect straightforward analysis, occasional dry humor, and always a focus on building something meaningful in an industry ripe for change.
